Death is something we will all experience, yet it is often one of the hardest things to discuss. Death Café offers a welcoming place to change that. Join us for a relaxed, respectful, and agenda-free conversation about death—and how greater awareness of it can help us live more fully. There is no lecture, presentation, or predetermined topic. The conversation is shaped by the people in the room and may explore subjects such as mortality, fear, funerals, legacy, end-of-life planning, spiritual beliefs, or what it means to live a meaningful life. You do not need any special experience or preparation. Simply arrive with an open mind, grab a drink, and join the conversation as much—or as little—as you feel comfortable. Botanical drinks and other refreshments will be available for purchase from The Bay. Death Café is not grief counseling, therapy, or a support group. It is not religious, and no beliefs, products, or services will be promoted.
